Renan is an expedition climber, landscape artist, cinematographer, and filmmaker. He is widely known for the Sundance award-winning film, Meru. Today Renan travels the world capturing all of its beauty. He’s directed and shot work for some of the biggest brands like Apple, Google, and Nike. He created his art pieces using mixed media, found materials, oil pastels, water colours, acrylics, ink pens and natural pigments pulled straight from the earth. This piece was created during a Himalyan expedition and features the Trango and Shipton towers.
